What is the proper way to put on the carrier before placing my baby in it?

Put the carrier on before placing your baby in it. Make sure the connector strap (A) in the back is buckled securely. With the carrier in front of you, slip the carrier over your head, then buckle the waist belt (B) securely with an audible click. Pull on excess waist belt strap (C) to remove all slack, buckle both shoulder straps (D), and tighten them by pulling on the excess strap (E) (Page 5).
