What should I do if the car seat moves too much side to side or front to back?

If the car seat moves more than 2.5 cm (1 in.) side to side or front to back at the belt path in use, the installation is not tight enough and serious injury or death may result. You will need to try again, find another location for your child restraint, or install it using a different method (for example, switch from LATCH to seat belt installation or vice versa).
