Can I use LATCH/UAS for heavier children?

No — do not use the LATCH/UAS lower anchor connectors when restraining a child weighing more than 15.9 kg (35 lbs) rear-facing or more than 18 kg (40 lbs) forward-facing with harness. For children exceeding these weights, you must use vehicle belt installation only. Never use the vehicle seat belts and LATCH/UAS at the same time in harness modes. (Pages 32, 77)
