What recline angle should the seat be at for rear-facing installation?

For rear-facing installation, the Recline Ball in the Level Indicator should be in the White Zone for children weighing 1.9–9 kg (4–20 lbs) and in the Black Zone for children weighing 9–18 kg (20–40 lbs). The vehicle must be on level ground when checking the indicator. Failure to properly recline the car seat could increase the child's risk of death or serious injury. (Pages 11, 64)
