How do I check if the harness straps are tight enough on my child?

The harness is tight enough when you cannot pinch any slack in the straps near the child's shoulders. A snug strap lies in a relatively straight line without sagging and does not press on the child's flesh or push the body into an unnatural position. Pull the harness adjuster strap to tighten as needed. (Page 44)
