Press the engine start button to begin a countdown from 60 to 00, and when it reaches 00, a beep will sound and the engine start icon will begin flashing, indicating the vehicle is ready to start. Turn on the engine per the manufacturer's instructions, typically in 3-5 second intervals, and the digital screen will display a 5-second countdown. After starting, the unit automatically adjusts the charging current to 3A for 5 minutes before switching to charge mode. (Page 2)
