How does the Self Clean (CLEAN) function work, and in which modes can I use it?

Pressing the Clean button causes the unit to clean itself automatically, after which the unit turns off automatically. You can only activate this function in COOL or DRY mode, and pressing Clean mid-cycle will cancel the operation and turn off the unit. You can use the Clean function as often as you like.
