What should I do before moving or cleaning the Multimeter?

First disconnect the Multimeter from all signal sources, then from the AC line power before moving or cleaning. Use only a damp, lint-free cloth to clean fascia and case parts. Do not remove the cover until the test leads are removed and after the mains power cord has been disconnected.
