How do I clean the dust filter on my Frigidaire FHWC054TE1?

Open the front panel, grasp the dust filter by the center, and pull it up and out. Wash it using liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water, rinse thoroughly, and gently shake out excess water, making sure it is completely dry before replacing it. Alternatively, you can vacuum the filter clean instead of washing it. When reinstalling, make sure the tabs on the filter are on the upper part and placed outward. (Page 20)
