How do I set the timer to automatically turn the air conditioner on or off?

Press the Timer button when the unit is in the On or Off position, then tap or hold the '+' or '−' button to set the delay time in 0.5-hour increments up to 10 hours, or in 1-hour increments up to 24 hours. After 5 seconds, the control will count down the remaining time until the unit starts or stops. You can cancel the timer at any time by pressing the On/Off button or holding the Timer button for 2 seconds. (Page 18)
