How does the Sleep feature work on the FHWC054TE1?

When Sleep mode is activated, the unit automatically selects Auto fan speed and the set temperature increases by 2°F after 30 minutes, then increases by another 2°F after an additional 30 minutes. This new temperature is maintained for 7 hours before returning to the originally selected temperature, ending Sleep mode. The display and indicator lights will dim by 25%, and Sleep mode can be cancelled at any time by pressing the Sleep, Fan Speed, or Mode button. (Page 17)
