How should I properly transport and install my new refrigerator?

Use a hand truck to move the refrigerator through narrow spaces, loading it only from the side of the cabinet. Never use refrigerator handles to move it, and do not overtighten retaining straps. Remove tape from the doors only after the unit is in place in your kitchen.
