How do I install the batteries in my GE universal remote?

Press the tab and lift the cover on the back of the remote. Insert two AAA alkaline batteries so the (+) and (-) marks on the batteries match the (+) and (-) marks inside the battery compartment. Then press the battery compartment cover back into place.
