What battery precautions should I follow when using the GE 24922 remote?
Do not mix new batteries with used ones, and do not mix alkaline batteries with standard carbon-zinc or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH) batteries. Always promptly remove old, weak, or dead batteries and recycle or dispose of them according to local and national regulations. (Page 3)
