What is the Steam PreWash option and when should I use it?

The Steam PreWash option is designed for use with heavily soiled and/or dried-on, baked-on soils and must be selected before starting the cycle. This option adds up to 30 minutes to the cycle time and is available with Heavy, Auto, Light, Normal, and Crystal cycles for extra cleaning power.
