How do I remove spots and film buildup from glasses and flatware?

Use Jet-Dry® rinse agent to remove spots and prevent new film build-up on dishes, glasses, flatware, cookware, and plastics. To remove stubborn existing film, remove all metal utensils, select the longest cycle without detergent, allow it to run 18–22 minutes into the main wash, then open the door and pour 2 cups (500 ml) of white vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher and allow the cycle to complete. If vinegar doesn't work, repeat the process using 1/4 cup (60 ml) of citric acid crystals instead. (Page 22)
