For the first year, GE will replace any part that fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship, including free labor and in-home service. In the second year, the Water Distribution System parts are covered for defects, but labor and in-home service costs are the owner's responsibility. The PermaTuf® tub or door liner is covered for ten years if it fails to contain water due to defects such as cracking, chipping, peeling, or rusting, including free labor and in-home service.
