What should I do if suds build up in the dishwasher tub?

Use only automatic dishwasher detergents to avoid sudsing—Cascade® Automatic Dishwashing Detergent has been approved for use in all GE dishwashers. To remove suds from the tub, open the dishwasher and let suds evaporate, add 1 gallon of cold water to the tub, close the door until it locks, press START/RESET to pump out water, then immediately press START/RESET again. Repeat if necessary.
