What should I do if there are suds inside the dishwasher tub?

Suds are caused by using a detergent not specifically made for dishwashers — only automatic dishwasher detergents should be used. To remove existing suds, open the dishwasher and let the suds evaporate, then add 1 gallon of cold water to the tub, close and latch the door, and pump out the water by slowly turning the Dial to a drain period. Repeat if necessary. (Page 20)
