Why won't my burner stay lit after I release the control knob?

The most likely cause is that the knob was not pushed in completely or held long enough. Push the knob completely in and hold it for a minimum of 3-5 seconds before releasing to allow the thermocouple to heat up and keep the gas flowing. Also check that the igniters are clean and dry and that the burner caps are correctly positioned. (Page 31)
