Why is my washer making noise and how do I fix it?

Possible causes include the washer being uneven (adjust front leveling legs), an unbalanced load (redistribute clothes evenly), a shipping rod still being installed (pull the yellow tag and rod from the bottom right side), or the washer sitting too close to the wall (pull washer about 4 inches away).
