How do I clean the fabric softener dispenser?

Remove the dispenser from the agitator and separate the dispenser cup from the cover. Soak both parts in a solution of 1 gallon warm water, 1/4 cup heavy duty liquid detergent, and 1 cup bleach. If necessary, loosen build-up with a clean, soft cloth after soaking, then rinse and reassemble before placing back on the agitator. (Page 6)
