First, extend LATCH to its maximum length and position the base in the vehicle seat. Thread LATCH through the base belt path, making sure it is UNDER the tongue on the base and lays flat without twisting. Hook the connectors to the vehicle lower anchors and pull firmly to ensure they are attached. Tighten LATCH by pushing down hard on the base and pulling the adjustment belt. Test the installation by pushing down on the top of the infant restraint and twisting/pulling it to ensure the LATCH does not lengthen or loosen.
