How do I properly adjust the harness straps on my Graco infant car seat?

First, remove the infant restraint from the base and place your child in it. Determine which pair of harness slots are even with or just below your child's shoulders. For a 3-point harness, push the harness anchor buckle back through the harness slot and reinsert it in the appropriate slot, then rethread the strap through the tightener. For a 5-point harness, depress the harness adjustment button, pull shoulder straps out to loosen, remove them from the metal junction plate, and reinsert through the appropriate slots. Make sure straps are not twisted and are secure by pulling on them.
