How do I adjust the harness straps for my child?

Press the harness adjuster release button on the lower front of the seat and pull on the harness straps to loosen them. For rear-facing use, harness straps must be at or below the child's shoulders. For forward-facing use, harness straps must be at or above the child's shoulders. When you cannot pinch the harness webbing at the child's shoulder, the harness is tight enough.
