When must the lumbar support be used or avoided in forward-facing mode?
The lumbar support MUST be used when the seat is in forward-facing mode for a child weighing less than 25 lb (11 kg). Conversely, the lumbar support MUST NOT be used for a child weighing more than 25 lb (11 kg) in forward-facing mode. In rear-facing mode, the lumbar support is optional. (Pages 1, 3, 123)
