How do I apply detergent or soap with the pressure washer?

Only use detergents designed specifically for pressure washers—never use household detergents, acids, alkalines, bleaches, solvents, or industrial solutions as these damage the pump. Remove the detergent tank cap and pour detergent into the tank, then reinstall the cap. Install only the black 75-degree soap tip on the spray wand. Soap is applied under low pressure and high volume for optimum performance; it cannot be applied under high pressure with this machine. Squeeze the trigger to spray the detergent on dry surfaces using long, even, overlapping strokes. (Pages 16-17, 21)
