Why is my pressure washer not reaching full pressure or is pulsating?

Several issues can cause low or pulsating pressure: the garden hose diameter may be too small—use a 1-inch or 5/8-inch hose instead; the water supply may be restricted—check for kinks, leaks, or blockages in the hose and open the water source fully; the water inlet filter may be clogged—remove and rinse it in warm water; or air may be in the pump—turn the unit OFF and purge the pump by squeezing the trigger until a steady water flow emerges. If pressure varies high and low, also check that no spray tip has been installed on the wand assembly. (Page 25)
