How do I maintain and clean the spray tips to prevent clogs?

If excessive pump pressure develops (a pulsing sensation while squeezing the trigger), the spray tip may be clogged or dirty. Turn off the pressure washer, shut off the water supply, and pull the trigger to release water pressure. Remove the spray tip from the spray wand and use the provided spray tip cleaning tool to free any foreign materials clogging the opening. Back-flush the spray tip using a garden hose, running water backwards from outside to inside. Then reconnect the spray tip and turn the water supply back on. (Page 23)
