How do I make coffee with the Hamilton Beach 43254R?

Fill the carafe with cold water and pour it into the water reservoir, place a basket-style paper filter in the filter basket, and add one level tablespoon (15 ml) of ground coffee per cup. Close the lid, place the carafe on the keep-hot plate, and press the I/O (ON/OFF) button once to start brewing. The I/O button will illuminate with a blue light when the unit is on.
