How do I use and maintain the optional water filter?

Before first use, soak the water filter in cold tap water for 15 minutes, then rinse under cold running water for 15 seconds. Insert the filter into the base, snap the lid onto the base, and place it in the specially-designed well at the bottom of the water reservoir. The water filter should be replaced after every 60 brewing cycles; use the month indicator on the filter to track when replacement is due.
