How often should I replace the water filter?

You should replace the water filter after 60 brewing cycles. Before first use, soak the water filter in cold tap water for 15 minutes and rinse under cold running water for 15 seconds. Refer to the month indicator on the filter to know when replacement is needed. To replace, pull up on the lid of the filter holder while holding the filter base, then turn the filter base to allow the filter to drop out.
