How long is the warranty coverage for the Hamilton Beach Rice Cooker?

In Canada, the product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for five (5) years from the date of original purchase. In the U.S., the warranty covers one (1) year from the date of original purchase. The warranty does not cover glass, filters, normal wear, or damage from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse.
