How do I control the fan speed with the pull chain?

The pull chain located to the right of the reverse switch has four positions: one pull is HIGH, two pulls is MEDIUM, three pulls is LOW, and four pulls turns the fan OFF. You can attach optional pull chain extensions to make the chains easier to reach.
