How do I store the humidifier when not in use for extended periods?

Before storing, clean the water tank, water reservoir, float, and transducer/ultrasonic membrane with a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water. Rinse and let all parts dry completely before storing. Also clean the oil tray with a soft, damp cloth and remove the essential oil pad. After storing, rinse the tank with water before operating the unit again.
