Where should I place my humidifier?

Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat surface with a waterproof mat or pad recommended underneath. Never place it on a rug, carpet, or finished floor that may be damaged by water or moisture. Do not place it near heat sources such as a stove or in direct sunlight. (Page 2-3)
