How do I properly fill the water tank for the first time?

Before filling for the first time, remove one demineralization cartridge from the packaging and soak it in water for 10 minutes. Fill the tank with clean, cool water or distilled water up to the MAX fill line — do not use warm or hot water. Add the soaked demineralization cartridge to the tank, then replace the tank cover.
