How does the programmable humidistat work?

The default humidistat setting is CO (continuous on), and it can be programmed in 5% increments from 35% to 55% humidity. The humidifier will automatically turn off when the set humidity level is reached and turn back on when the humidity drops 5% below the set level. To eliminate any programmed setting, continue pressing the humidistat button until CO is displayed. (Page 7)
