How do I start my Honda Trx400ex when it's cold?
For starting a cold engine, move the choke lever fully to ON position. Press the start button with throttle slightly open. After startup, gradually warm up the engine by opening and closing the throttle slightly. Push the choke lever down halfway after initial start.
