Why does 'Heat On' or 'Cool On' keep flashing on my thermostat?
The compressor protection feature is engaged. Wait 5 minutes for the system to restart safely without damage to the compressor. This is a built-in safety mechanism that prevents the compressor from restarting too early after shutdown.
