Where should I install the Pro Th4210D thermostat in my home?

Install the thermostat about 5 feet (1.5m) above the floor in an area with good air circulation at average temperature. Do not install it in locations affected by drafts, dead spots behind doors and in corners, hot or cold air from ducts, sunlight, radiant heat from appliances, concealed pipes, chimneys, or unheated/uncooled areas such as outside walls.
