What should I do when the 'Cool On' or 'Heat On' message is flashing on the display?

The flashing message means the built-in compressor protection feature is engaged. You simply need to wait 5 minutes for the system to restart safely without damage to the compressor. Once the safe wait time has elapsed, the message will stop flashing and the compressor will turn on. (Page 8)
