What is the warranty coverage for the Honeywell TH3110U2008 thermostat?

Resideo provides a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in workmanship or materials under normal use from the date of first purchase (batteries are excluded). If the product is defective, you can return it to the place of purchase with proof of purchase, or call Resideo Customer Care at 1-800-468-1502. The warranty does not cover removal or reinstallation costs, and does not apply to damage caused while in the consumer's possession.
