How do I temporarily or permanently override the programmed schedule?

To temporarily override the schedule, press the + or – button to adjust the temperature — the new setpoint will hold until the next scheduled period begins. To make it a permanent hold, while the setpoint is flashing, press the Hold (Mode) button to switch to Permanent Hold. To cancel either type of hold, press + or – and then press Cancel. (Page 4)
