What is the built-in compressor protection feature and how does it work?
The TH5110D has a built-in minimum-off timer that prevents the compressor from restarting too early after a shutdown. The timer is activated after the compressor turns off, and if there is a call for heating or cooling during this period, 'Cool On' or 'Heat On' will flash in the display. Once the minimum-off timer expires, the indicator appears solidly and the compressor and fan turn on. (Page 14)
