What should I check if the display on my thermostat is blank?

If the display is blank, check that the circuit breaker has not tripped and that the power switch at the heating and/or cooling system is on. Also check that the furnace door is closed securely, and if the thermostat uses batteries, verify that fresh AAA alkaline batteries are installed correctly as marked on the battery holder. (Page 20)
