What should I do if the heating system does not turn on?

Check the following steps: (1) Set the system to Heat by pressing the System button, (2) Check that the heat temperature setting is set above the room temperature and 'Heat On' shows solidly in the display, (3) Check the circuit breaker to ensure it is not tripped, (4) Check the power switch at the heating system to ensure it is on, (5) Check that the furnace door is closed securely, (6) Wait five minutes for the heating system to respond, and (7) If all of this was checked, contact your local heating and cooling contractor.
