How long is the Honeywell TH5220D1029 covered by warranty?

Honeywell warrants this product, excluding the battery, to be free from defects in workmanship or materials for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase by the consumer under normal use and service. If the product is determined to be defective or malfunctions during the warranty period, Honeywell will repair or replace it at Honeywell's option. (Page 6)
