What does 'In Recovery' mean on the thermostat display?

The 'In Recovery' message indicates that the Adaptive Intelligent Recovery (AIR) feature is active. This feature allows the thermostat to learn how long your furnace or air conditioner takes to reach the desired temperature, and turns on heating or cooling early enough to reach your scheduled temperature exactly at your scheduled time. For example, if your Wake period is set to 6 am at 70°, the heat will turn on before 6 am so the temperature reaches 70° by the time you wake up. (Page 16)
