Why won't my heating or cooling system respond?

First, press the SYSTEM button to ensure it's set to Heat (temperature should be higher than inside temperature) or Cool (temperature should be lower than inside temperature). Then check the circuit breaker and reset if necessary, make sure the power switch at the heating and cooling system is on, ensure the furnace door is closed securely, and wait 5 minutes for the system to respond.
